Teaching
So enough people asked for this that I decided to give it a go. I'll be posting my own captions using images from previous caption contests. I'll try to make a few from each contest using my favorite images from each. Here's the first. I wanted to do something different with the design.

Balls in Your Court
If you don't normally read my "Ask Me Anything" take a look at today's (right below this point) just for the final question as I'm interested in everyone's response.

Anonymous asked: I know I'm one to talk because I don't make captions, but why do you think you got such a small turnout for this contest? The quality of the captions is great but it's a pretty low quantity from previous contests. Is it the subject? I was really excited for the bondage theme.
Me: I'm not sure. It's probably a combination of things. The number of entries has declined since the second contest except when I extend the deadline and beg people to send in more - which I didn't do this time. So it could be that people just aren't into the contests as much as they used to be. It could be the theme but in the last two "theme polls" I did, bondage got a lot of votes. I was thinking about maybe not doing another contest for a long time, but then I see the quality of the captions that get turned in and I hear how much fun the participants have. Especially now, with Elena Starz's site down, I think I should keep doing them so people who like making captions but don't want to maintain their own website have a place to post them.
